Volunteers

TLC are looking for Volunteers to provide emotional and practical support, give ‘time out’ for carers and befriend people with life-limiting conditions in Hampshire, Surrey and West Sussex.

If you consider yourself to be kind, sensitive and caring and have up to 3 hours a week to spare, we would love to hear from you. Put a smile on your face and on someone else’s too!

  • A TLC volunteer provides befriending and emotional support.
     
  • A TLC volunteer provides practical support for clients in their own home.
     
  • A TLC volunteer provides assistance: Light shopping, taking people out,
    doing simple activities such as scrabble, or just having a cuppa.
     
  • A TLC volunteer offers respite to carers.
     
  • Volunteers and clients are matched up according to their needs and suitability.


Full training is provided, together with continuous support and supervision.

We would like our volunteers to be able to give up to 3 hours a week, the times and days being flexible to suit your commitments.

Volunteers need to be willing to attend the initial training and regular support sessions.
