Downton Event in aid of TLC

"Meet Team Downton" Event held in aid of TLC

On March 12th TLC held a Meet Team Downton evening Event at The Millennium Hall Liphook. Downton Abbey's Producer Chris Croucher and Locations Manager Sparky Ellis, were joined by Hugh Bonneville to give a packed audience an insight as to the blood sweat and tears shed by all the cast and crew to give us such a successful and enjoyable Sunday night's viewing for the last six years. The auditorium buzzed with a Question and Answer session, providing anecdotal and amusing reminiscences from the trio who obviously enjoyed being together again as part of the Downton family. Jenny Croucher, PR and Marketing for TLC, gave an overview of the charity and appealed for much needed volunteers, trustees and of course funds. The evening culminated in a Grand Raffle which included the latest Limited Edition Downton Abbey DVD collection as the main prize which was drawn by The Earl of Grantham. The evening raised £3,500.
